You'll need a very small screwdriver to remove the battery cover
When you pull out the plastic strip that isolates the battery the scales won't turn on so you need to remove the battery cover. I resorted to the end of a kitchen knife to remove the screw, then remove the cover and push the battery into place. The battery cover will then firmly clip back into place so the screw can be binned. Yay the scales then work! Other than that minor irritation the scales are all good and worth buying.

C'est une petite balance de cuisine au design sympathique, qui peut s'intégrer dans tout style de cuisine.
J’adore son plateau carré en acier inoxydable et au tracé en sillons ! Il est hygiénique et largement suffisant pour un usage culinaire (14,5 cm x 14,5 cm).
La pile ronde est fournie et protégée par une languette qu'il faut ôter avant la première utilisation.
Ce pèse aliments disposent de deux touches : la première sert à allumer la balance et à l'éteindre, la seconde permet de changer d'unité de mesure car cette balance peut indiquer le poids des solides et la contenance des liquides.
La fonction ajouter/peser est un très grand + puisque l’on peut peser les différents ingrédients d'une recette sans changer de bol, en se servant de la touche marche/arrêt entre l'ajout de chaque ingrédient. Pour la personne qui doit faire la vaisselle c'est appréciable !
La balance est garantie 15 ans et son prix est tout à fait raisonnable (20 €).
Personnellement, j’aime son look moderne et son plateau en inox est très bien assorti à notre électroménager ….. C’est nickel !
Je vous la recommande sans le moindre doute. Elle est fiable et apporte une petite touche décorative !
