The Digital Hujra-e-Salawat ‘Alan Nabi ﷺ is a sacred initiative that extends the blessings of the physical Hujra-e-Salawat, located within the courtyard of the Dargah of Hazrat Shaikh-e-Deccan (رحمة الله عليه) at Shaikh Roza, Gulbarga, Karnataka, India, to believers across the world.
The physical Hujra was established under the guidance and patronage of the late Sajjada Nasheen, Alhaj Shaikh Shah Mohammed Tajuddin Junaidi (رحمة الله عليه) and inaugurated by him in 2019. Today, it continues under the custodianship of His Excellency, Shaikh al-Kabeer Silsila Junaidia, Dr. Shaikh Shah Mohammed Afzaluddin Junaidi (حفظه الله), the present Sajjada Nasheen.
In this chamber, since its inaugurated, believers from across the world have been gathering for a continuous, unceasing recitation of Salawat upon the Beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ (Twenty Four) 24 Hours a day, 7 days a week, 30 days a month, 365 days a year — pausing only for the five daily obligatory prayers.
Women are granted access from the Maghrib prayer on the 26th day of each Hijri month until the 1st day of the following Hijri month—covering approximately five to six days, the concluding days of the month. Men, on the other hand, are admitted during the first twenty-five days of the Hijri month.
The Digital Hujra-e-Salawat app now extends this spiritual sanctuary beyond the physical space, allowing believers worldwide to join in this noble practice from their own homes, wherever they may reside.
