Hello, I don't have full answer in the artice https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-apps/maker/data-platform/data-platform-restricted-entities . 1. I need to clarify if a Power Apps Premium licensed user can create, edit and close opportunities. -> Sales tables (Lead,Opportunity, Quote...) are not listed 2. Also would it be possible for a Power Pages Authenticated (internal User) to close a case. -> It says about "Power Apps, Power Automate, or Copilot Studio licensed" but Power Page is not listed. Any help is welcomed :) Kind regards, Pierre-OlivierSolvedANNOUNCEMENT: Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Licensing Update

In the Partner Center documentation at https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/partner-center/enroll/csp-supported-partner-relationships, I find sample scenario 4b and sample scenario 5, which contradicts each other. Sample scenario 4b appears to say that we can buy four ourselves if our production environment is separate from the one used for CSP business, while scenario 5 appears to say that we cannot. Which one is it?BizApps D365 Specialisation SMB
Hello community and MS folks, As per partner portal you need 5x MB800 certifications to meet the BC skills requirements. Could it be that MS has forgotten to add the advanced certification MB-820 to the list of eligible certifications? It wouldn't make sense to exclude MB-820 from this list would it?OV Subscription and M365
Hi Microsoft Community, at the Moment we the following situation with one of our Customers from Germany. The customer has two differrent types of contracts at the Moment, one is a M365 contract and the other one is an Open Value Supscription contract. As an attachment to this E-Mail i share the actual licenses of the Customer with you. The customer has the follwing licenses: M365: 1x Dynamics 365 Customer Voice for Teachers 200x Microsoft 365 A3 for Teachers 5600x Microsoft 365 A3 for Students 5x Microsoft 365 A5 for Teachers 100x Microsoft Teams Telefon Standard for Teachers 25x Microsoft Viva-Suite for Teachers 5x Planner for Project Plan 3 for Teachers 3x Planner for Project Plan 5 for Teachers OV- Subscription: 200 FTE; MS Core CAL Client Access License Suite, incl. Software Assurance. 2x MS Exchange Server Standard, incl. Software Assurance. 200 FTE; MS Project Professional incl. Software Assurance 200 FTE; MS Visio Professional Enterprise Device, incl. Software Assurance 25x MS Windows Remote Desktop Services User CAL 1x MS SQL Server Standard Edition, incl. Software Assurance 2x MS SQL Server Standard Core, incl. Software Assurance, 2 Licenses 320 Cores; MS Windows Server Standard, incl. Software Assurance 48 Cores; MS Windows Server Datacenter Core incl. Software Assurance The customer is a school and can participate at the Microsoft Education programm. Since the last partner of the customerdidnt do a good consulting job and wasnt able to answer the questions of the customer properly, he is now very sensitive about some questions he has. Maybe you can help us with those questions too: With the Microsoft 365 A3 License for Teachers or Students there also comes a Windows 10/11 Desktop Operation System Upgrade to Windows 10/11 Education/Enterprise. Is there a proper Operations system like Windows 11 Pro OEM needed to install the Windows 11 Education Edition on the PCs or can the customer also buy Systems without any Microsoft Operation Systems and install the Windows 11 Education license directly on the Device? To open up a Open Value Subscription Contract there are qualified Products needed. In this case its the Microsoft Core CALs. Are they always needed or is it possible to open a Contract without them? Cause the CALs would already been licensed about the Microsoft 365 A3 Licenses. Is it still true, that when you License all FTEs in a Open Value Subscription contract that you can Provide all those Licenese for the Students too, for example: Visio, Project, Windows Server? If yes, how can the Students get those licenses? Is there still a Microsoft Portal where they can sign up with their school account and can Download those Licenses? Thanks for your help. Best regards ChristophNew 3Yr Offer for ME3 and ME5
I see the announcement in Partner Center Announcements that the 3Yr Term for ME3 and ME5 will be available in June and there is an FAQ, but it says I don't have permissions to access. Can anyone else access this? Also, does anyone know what the liability is for the Partner? When I look at the billing terms documentation for 3Yr terms, it was last updated April 25th and is very specific to Dynamics. It does state that a partner can cancel during the term, but again, is that specific to Dynamics or is that an option for the new SKUs as well? Why do TSPs ask for a secondary email?
Hi there, I have a question for TSPs regarding MTM setup for MCTs. Why are you asking MCTs to create or use a secondary email address for MTM? As we approach FY26, MCTs will be required to provide their MTM user ID (which is their email address) during renewal. This is essential for us to query MTM and verify that they are meeting the requirement of delivering six sessions per year. If MCTs are using a different email for MTM—especially one assigned by a TSP—it may prevent us from accurately tracking their activity, which could impact their renewal eligibility. Is there a specific reason for requesting or assigning alternate emails for MTM accounts? ThanksDo you need admin privilege to purchase on AppSource?
Hi Community, We are an ISV and publish Apps on AppSource. I’ve always assumed that anyone with a valid email and credit card could purchase a product through AppSource. The requirements on this Microsoft page seem to support that: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/marketplace/purchase-software-appsource However, I recently discovered that only Microsoft 365 admins can access order details in the Admin Center. For example, clicking on your badge in AppSource, View all orders in Admin Center, redirects you to this link: https://admin.microsoft.com/Adminportal/Home#/subscriptions/apps But if your account isn’t an admin, you’ll see this message: Switch to an account that has permission Your account (xxxxxx) doesn’t have permission to view or manage this page in the Microsoft 365 admin center. This is confusing. If any user can initiate a purchase, why can’t they view or manage their orders? And if only admins are meant to complete or manage purchases, why is the checkout process open to all users? Would appreciate any clarification or official guidance on this. Thanks!I have a question about upcoming FY26 on the Distributor side minimum of 30 million USD TTM billed.
I am in Tie Distribution, distributing in Thailand. i see New Update What does this mean, please elaborate. I want to know how the revenue is calculated and is the minimum really 30 million USD? How can I check how much the current amount is? How is the TTM billed CSP revenue measured, and where can we view our historical data?Microsoft Store Developer registration

Updated May 5. Our renewal and enrollment tool is not available yet. The renewal tool will be released first in the next few weeks, followed by the new enrollment tool. Although it is the same tool, we are rolling it out in stages. I will update this post as soon as the tool gets released. Thank you for your patience. We are experiencing technical difficulties with our enrollment tool. As a result, we will continue to accept manually enrolled trainers. Please collaborate with the ISCPs, as was done from June 2024 to April 2025, to manually enroll MCTs. Thank you all for your patience over the past year as we complete our SFI upgrades. Sarah Kong MCT Program ManagerA Tale of Verification
It took four months but I was finally verified. I'm sharing my story to help others and show how utterly broken this process is. It's so bad that I have to wonder if it's to artificially keep the amount of partners low or some sort of psychological experiment. Only those stubborn and foolish enough to keep trying for months are worthy to be an almighty partner. Jill, assuming you're a real person, I appreciate that you're the only representative who will even talk to us. It's not your fault that you're moderating a forum in a subject you have no knowledge or control over, but some of your responses have been dismissive or incorrect since the material you're working with is incorrect. For example, "This application is insufficient for the requirements of the program. At this point, we are unable to provide any further Support." is simply a canned response I received on my very first ticket; prospective partners can keep appealing (how many times? no one knows). I wish it worked the way all of the resources you link propose it does. We aren't all incompetent. Might I suggest that Microsoft attempt to audit themselves by anonymously following their own instructions? You don't even need to register a real company since all verification is done via unreliable documents. No one clicked the legitimate Whois and government links I sent. Here are some things I encountered, off the top of my head: For the majority of the process, there was no way for me to upload documents on the website, forcing me to open tickets and be subjected to what I theorize are real people who use a poorly coded AI to "verify" documentation. Microsoft articles are inconsistent or horribly outdated. No one knows what's going on, not even the AI that gave me conflicting (and wrong) answers. There was nowhere to input a DUNS number but I was luckily never asked to submit one. The "Fix now" button did nothing until the very end when it suddenly started to work, but it just wasted my time. Speaking of wasted time, the partner dashboard is the slowest website I've visited in recent memory. Generic email addresses like "support" or "help" aren't valid, you must use your name. Fine, but changing my email address and attempting to verify it resulted in an error code and no verification email. Microsoft support was useless whenever I submitted bug reports. I don't even remember how I got past this step, I think I created another user on the organization and restarted the process with the new email. The third-party verification app fails silently on older phones. I would periodically lose identity verification status while waiting for employment verification. If this happened while waiting for a ticket response, the support agent wouldn't even acknowledge the step I was really on, so I had to check and re-verify every day just in case I received a reply. The last time this happened, I was trying to get developer verification which doesn't even require identity verification. There was no way to respond via the web interface without uploading an image, so I uploaded my verified identity success screenshot. I didn't get a response, forcing me to open another ticket. I was told I hadn't satisfied a step when I clearly had a green check mark next to it and in some cases had completed it multiple times. Support isn't allowed to go off script, possibly because they aren't real, even when you are having a comical mental breakdown in a ticket. I think the main issue people are encountering is that they're sending in piecemeal documentation that satisfies all requirements when looked at separately, but no one is looking at it separately; it must all be in one document for an AI to read. This is not disclosed. You must make sure your PDFs (forget images) are readable by AI. Copy paste them into a text document to ensure legibility. This is not disclosed. Even if the document has everything required and is readable by AI, they might reply with the exact same response requesting the same document that you just sent them. When I achieved partner, I wasn't informed for over a week and kept receiving "Thank you for reaching out!" emails. It took me another month to get past developer verification. Why is there not one single verification process? Why is domain verification not complete as soon as I update my CNAME/MX records, a requirement for even using my account? Why, why, why... Good luck everyone. Hopefully I don't randomly lose verification like I have my sanity!Microsoft CSP - Indirect Reseller Status is Suspended and Can't Get Fixed
I am in a very bad spot with our indirect reseller Microsoft account and am hoping that maybe someone out there might be able to help me. In mid May, I placed an order with Pax8 for a new customer and the order was rejected by Microsoft with the error, "Associated partner LegalBusinessProfile NotFound." It turns out that when we moved offices and I updated our business's address at partner.microsoft.com, Microsoft de-authorized our partner status, which I didn't catch, and then put our Cloud Service Provider (CSP) indirect reseller program into "Suspended" status after some time. In the partner center, I was able to get our legal business profile fixed easy enough - I just had to open a ticket and send them some legal documentation. Everything under the "Partner" tab in the Partner Portal is now green checkboxes and "Authorized". Pax8 tried the provisioning again, and got the same error. It turns out that our "Indirect Reseller status" is now "Suspended" and this wasn't changed when the "Partner" status was fixed. Microsoft has a webpage that describes why this can happen and what to do to get it fixed at https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/partner-center/account-settings/suspended-partner-center-account . It says, "Microsoft suspends Partner Center accounts for Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program when: Significant account abuse is detected Your vetting status is Rejected for more than 30 days" We haven't had any account abuse (mercifully, our existing tenants are still operational and being billed for through Pax8), so our vetting status was almost certainly to blame. That same document says, "If you are sure that your account is compliant and should be moved back to Active state, contact Support for help with reactivating your account," so I opened a ticket with Microsoft. Actually, 3 tickets so far, because every single one has the same copy-and-paste reply: Thank you for contacting Microsoft Partner support about the suspension of the CSP account. In the Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program Agreement, both Microsoft and our partners reserve the right to walk away from the partner relationship by providing 30 days' notice to the other. The notice of suspension and termination proceeding was provided April 2024. Neither party is required to offer an explanation for the decision to terminate the partner agreement. As Microsoft is exercising its rights under this section 4.b of the Microsoft AI Cloud Program Agreement, we are unable to share an explanation or further details. Thanks, I can't get anywhere with Microsoft support. We just landed a big customer and need to set up their tenant. I am afraid that if this goes on much longer or if somehow we are unable to add any more customers to our Pax8 account, that we'll lose this customer, which is large enough to really hurt the business. Does anyone here have any ideas on how to get through to someone at Microsoft that could help with this situation? Does anyone else have any other ideas on what else we could try? Some additional notes: When clicking "Agreements" in the partner portal, we get an error message, "Service unavailable. Something went wrong. Please try reloading the page, if this problem persists please contact Microsoft support." Everything in Legal Info/Partner looks good. Our "Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program status" is "Active". Everything in Legal Info/Reseller looks good except that "Indirect Reseller status" shows "Suspended". Under Identifiers/Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program, I have 1 PartnerGlobal ID and 2 PartnerLocation IDs, corresponding to our old and new addresses. Do I need to delete the old PartnerLocation ID? I haven't done so because it looks like this step is irreversible but I am getting desperate enough to try it. Our "Company profile" is not filled out, but the "Update" button stays grayed out after I fill in the information and it appears that I am unable to update this. I thought that maybe I just needed to sign the "Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program Agreement" again, but I can't find anywhere on the partner portal where I would do so. I went through my emails exhaustively and we did not receive a, "notice of suspension and termination proceeding" in April 2024, or any other time for that matter. I can't find a copy of the Microsoft AI Cloud Program Agreement to even see what section 4.b says. I've dealt with government bureaucracies a lot in my career, but I've never experienced a Kafkaesque situation 10% as bad as this one. This is probably the most stressful thing I've dealt with in this business in the last decade. This could destroy our business if I can't get this sorted out. Sorry for the wall of text, but I tried to include as much detail as possible and it got long. If you got to this point in my post, thank you for helping or trying to help me.
