If you are experiencing an issue with another plugin on your site, the plugin’s developers may advise you to disable all plugins, including Jetpack. Jetpack is unlikely to cause issues; therefore, you won’t need to deactivate it.
However, you can deactivate specific Jetpack features you believe may be causing a conflict.
This section of the guide applies to sites with the WordPress.com Business and Commerce plan. If you have a Business plan, make sure to activate it. For free sites and sites on the Personal and Premium plans, upgrade your plan to access this feature.
To deactivate specific features of Jetpack, take the following steps:
- Visit your site’s dashboard.
- On the left side, navigate to Jetpack → Settings.
- Scroll to the bottom, where you can find the Modules option. Click this to view a list of all Jetpack features with toggles to enable or disable each module:

- Click the Deactivate button next to any module in the list.
- To deactivate multiple modules at once, tick the box next to each module, then select Deactivate from the Bulk Actions dropdown at the top of the screen.
