They respond quickly

They respond quickly and understandably, but the "new" website was a little difficult to understand for me. All in all, I am pleased with their product. If it were easier for me to navigate their site, I would have rated 5 stars.

Easy to understand instructions for inexperienced admin

I'm a volunteer charged with handling the website of a non-profit organization because they have no-one else to do it. My experience is minimal. So I am very appreciative of Varsha Shetty's kind instructions on how to resolve the "503 Error" preventing Iogin to our site. In addition to the immediate solution, he offered a suggestion to minimize future issues.

Hostgator stuck a hidden charge in my package

Hostgator is basically ok. They stuck a hidden charge in my package for professional email that I do not require. I was unaware they had graciously and spuriously included auto renewal until the charge came through. I had to contact customer service who resolved it immediately, but Hostgator shouldn't play their customers like it - it's skeevy.

HostGator has AMAZING people like Julian Y for Your problems

Today I speaking with Julian Y (Spvsr) in Tech Support regarding situations with my email for my business that was not a normal or usual situation. Julian took the time to listen to the WHOLE situation before giving me solutions. Of all the supervisors (all of whom were excellent), Julian was by far the person who gave me answers and solutions that were most helpful. Julian was professional, personable, informative, knowledgeable and most of all, gracious regarding my unusual problem.

I then advised Julian about another problem that plagues my website 2 - 3 times a year and disrupts my website. I just wanted to know HOW to prevent this from happening on an ongoing basis. Julian surprised me with an answer that no other supervisor has ever mentioned. The solution was so easy I was shocked. I knew immediately when Julian mentioned the solution. I didn't such an obstacle was a problem until Julian mentioned it.

So as a small business owner, if you want a web hosting company that goes above and beyond to find solutions that are glitches on your website (provided that as a small business owner who wants to be involved in your website), HostGator needs to be your FIRST choice, as it's there where you will find amazing people like Julian. It may not be Julian that you speak with, however, EVERY person in their tech support will be able to help find your solution.

Thank you, HostGator, for people like Julian Y and please remember this when review time comes for appreciating your wonderful staff.

HostGator migration.

HostGator migration.
They didn't migrate our websites properly and closed the access of our old server for 2 days.

Some websites are not working and they didn't give 2TB that we purchased we still have old storage of 1TB for 2 days and Hostgator doesn't tell when they will give the 2TB we purchased and do not say when we will get our website.
