🚛 New #EUTransport communication assesses market readiness of heavy-duty road transport vehicles! This communication looks more closely at: 🚚 Vehicle uptake: the zero-emission heavy duty vehicle fleet is estimated to be between 410,000-600,000 by 2030. 👩💻 Technology maturity: by the end of 2024, more than 100 battery electric models were already available in series or small series production. 🔋 Recharging & refuelling infrastructure: mandatory targets set under the Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Regulation along the #TEN_T network and in urban nodes will provide approximately 50% of the necessary infrastructure by 2030. ➡️ For more information, read the full communication: https://lnkd.in/dmHRzm3r

💬 Stakeholder consultation on Military Mobility Package now open! Military mobility is vital for Europe’s defence and security. Upgrading transport infrastructure to dual-use standards will enable rapid movement of troops and equipment across the EU. 🗣️ Member States, the European Defence Agency, PESCO, NATO, industry associations in defence, transport and energy, transport infrastructure managers, the finance sector, civil society, research organisations, think tanks and more are invited to take part in this consultation process. The process includes: 🔹 An EU Survey 🔹 Submission of research and position papers 🔹 Bilateral meetings All aiming to shape the Package, which is expected by year’s end.
