Merely having the plugin installed caused white screen of death for non-users

Thought I would let you know there seems to be a critical error with this plugin that I have never see in all my years of WordPress work… just the mere installation of this plugin causes the white screen of death (even if it is not activated) for non-logged in users. When I am logged in I can see the site, but when I am logged out white screen of death. Mind you this is with the plugin merely installed and not activated. Nothing changes when activated. Tested on several sites to make sure I was not super crazy. This happens in all versions combined with any WordPress that is 4.5+ for sure.
Tested the scenario with default wordpress themes, no other plugins, etc. Same result. No bueno…. Thought you should have a heads up.
