Before jumping into building your first site, this article will help you become a little more familiar with the Pressable control panel and its features.
Account Control Panel
The first view that you come across when logging into your account is the site listing page. This will display all sites currently installed on your account, along with that site’s IP addresses, the number of domains and collaborators, as well as whether it’s a staging site or not. You can view more about each site by clicking on the settings icon.

Add a new site
You can add a new site by clicking on the Add Site button in the upper right-hand corner.

Follow the prompts from there to create your new Pressable site. You can then assign the site a name, select a data center location, select the PHP version, choose whether itโs a live site, staging site, or sandbox site, and choose whether the site should be a migration placeholder:

Once you do, your site will begin deploying and an email notification will be sent when it has been completed. This email will contain information on getting logged into your newly created site.
Site Control Panel

Overview

The overview tab gives you general information about the site. From here you can change the PHP version, the WordPress version, and the site display name. You can also reset the password for your wp-admin user. And you can convert the site between staging and live.
You can also locate detailed information about the site, manage SFTP/SSH and WordPress admin passwords, access site tools, and more.

Domains

From this tab, you can access the DNS Wizard to simplify pointing your domain.
You can also obtain the necessary DNS information to manually point your domain name to Pressable. Once it has been pointed, it can be added to the site in the “Domains” section. If you are using our nameservers for your domain, you will also be able to manage your DNS records from this area.
Performance

From the performance tab, you can enable/disable Lightweight 404 pages, and view Performance Metrics and Performance Reports for the site.
Collaborators

The Collaborators section will allow you to manage the site’s collaborators and FTP access through Pressable SFTP tools.
Backups & Restores

Pressable takes automatic backups of your site. The file system is backed up once daily at 00:00 UTC. The database is backed up hourly. You can access and download these backups from the Backups & Restores tab. You can also restore your site to any of these backup points.
Git Integration

You can read more about this in our Git integration guide.
Logs

Pressable provides PHP error logs that are accessible to you via the Pressable Control Panel. You can learn more about this feature in our Accessing WordPress Error Logs guide.
Pressable also provides seven days (up to 10,000 entries) of Web Server Logs that are accessible to you via the Pressable Control Panel. You can learn more about this feature in our Accessing Web Server Logs guide.
You can also find site activity logs and cron event logs in this section.
