HITS A SUPERMARKET MANAGER WITH A SHOVEL FOR NOT GIVING HIS WIFE A DAY OFF

In a supermarket in Sinop, Brazil, a man struck the manager with a shovel after his wife, an employee at the store, complained about not getting any days off. The attack was caught on video, showing how the manager, who was standing with his back turned while talking on the phone, was hit from the side. The impact was partially absorbed by the device, but he still suffered a significant head injury. Other employees managed to subdue the attacker, who was arrested and now faces attempted homicide charges.

CRAWLING TO COMMIT AN ASSAULT

In April this year, at the Maricopa County Detention Center in Arizona, 29-year-old inmate Justin Avery was caught on security cameras crawling into the women�s section of the facility with the intention of sexually assaulting a sleeping woman. Avery, who was awaiting trial for allegedly assaulting five women near Arizona State University, admitted his intent to rape the woman. The attack was prevented thanks to another inmate who alerted the authorities.

Following the incident, the Maricopa County Sheriff's Department implemented immediate measures, including installing mirrors to eliminate blind spots and improving overall supervision to prevent similar incidents in the future.

ASSAULT ON A DOZEN WOMEN IN THE BARCELONA METRO

Security cameras in the Barcelona metro captured the moment when a man of Maghrebi origin began attacking women he encountered along the way. He was arrested and released because most of the women had taken the metro and could not testify. Later in the day, the main victim seen in the video filed a complaint and presented a medical report showing a perforated eardrum. That same evening, the man was arrested and taken to a penitentiary center as he had several prior convictions.
