Associating a material with an object or a style

- [Instructor] We're going to look now at how we can associate a material with an object or a style in Revit. In this particular case, it's going to be an object. It's going to be a wall object. And as you can see in the ElementMaterials.rvt file, in the 3D view, we're just looking at a length of wall with a particular group of materials applied to it. So download ElementMaterials to RVT from the library and open up the 3D view and you can see what I mean there. Make sure, here, on the view control bar that you're using something like Consistent Colors or possibly even Realistic if you wish. Realistic is a bit dark; Consistent Colors tends to be a good one or Shaded tends to be a good one. Also saves on memory on your graphics card as well. Make sure you've also got the detail level set to Fine so that you can see all the detail of the object that we're going to be working with. Now, what we're going to look at is applying…
